Privacy Policy for PulsPatrol App

Effective Date: March 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the PulsPatrol application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

To provide our core safety and monitoring features, PulsPatrol requires certain permissions and collects specific types of data:

Location Data: We collect your device's precise location data. This is strictly used for the core "SOS Alert" feature to send your last known location to your designated emergency contacts when a timeout or emergency event occurs, even when the app is at background or not in use.

Screen and Usage Status: We monitor your device's screen lock/unlock events (via Background Services), calculate usage duration of the phone this App installed on, and detect potential periods of inactivity or emergencies.

Contact Information: If you configure SOS or Personal/Parental reporting, the App will store the email addresses you provide (e.g., guardian or emergency contacts) locally to send automated reports or alerts.

Device Information: We collect basic device information (such as device model and name you input) to include in your daily reports and emergency alerts so the recipients can identify your device.

2. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. We utilize the following services:

RevenueCat & Google Play Billing: Used to process securely in-app purchases and subscriptions. We do not collect or store your credit card information on our servers.

EmailJS: Used as an email delivery engine to send daily reports and SOS alerts to your configured contacts.

3. Data Storage and Security

We prioritize your privacy. All your configurations (including email addresses and usage logs) are stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms. We do not own, operate, or maintain any developer servers to store or track your personal data.

However, to provide the App's core functionalities (sending daily reports and SOS alerts), specific required data—such as recipient email addresses, device name, usage statistics, and SOS location— is transmitted securely over the internet to our third-party email provider (EmailJS) solely for the purpose of dispatching the emails. EmailJS processes this transient data strictly to deliver the messages. However, please remember that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

4. Age Restrictions and Children's Privacy

This App is designed for general audiences and teenagers aged 13 and older. It is strictly not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not collect or solicit any personal information on any developer servers. In fact, we do not own or operate any backend servers for this App. The App communicates directly with trusted third-party services (as outlined in Section 2) solely to deliver its core functionalities.

Because all App data (including email configurations, location caches, and usage logs) is stored entirely locally on your device and is never transmitted to any servers, we do not have the technical ability to access, view, or remotely delete any user data. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under 13 has downloaded and configured this App without your consent, you can immediately delete all associated data by simply uninstalling the App from the device or clearing the App's data in the device's system settings. If you have further questions, please contact us at support@entropylabs.dev.

5. Data Deletion Instructions

Because PulsPatrol is a purely local application with no developer backend servers, you have full and absolute control over your data.

Steps to Delete Data: To immediately and permanently delete your data, you simply need to uninstall the PulsPatrol App from your device, or navigate to your device's Settings > Apps > PulsPatrol > Storage and tap Clear Data.

Data Types Deleted: Performing the above steps will instantly delete all your configured email addresses, device names, usage logs, and any cached location data.

Retention Period: We retain exactly zero data on our end. Your data is retained locally on your own device strictly for as long as you keep the App installed. Once uninstalled, the data is permanently erased and cannot be recovered by us.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
